Production process:

The product is made by sending acetaldehyde and oxygen into an acid catalytic solution consisting of mainly manganate under certain temperature and as a result of synthetic reaction.

Properties:

The product is a colourless transparent liquid with a strong irritating acidic smell.It is soluble in water,ethanol and ether, etc. and not soluble in carbon disulfide with a relative density of 1.05(20),freezing point 16.7,boiling point 118.1,explosion limits 4.0%-17%.

Safe handling and precautions:

1. The product should be handled with care,guard against collision. The relevant Government Ordinance concerning transportation of hazardous chemicals must be followed.The special tank truck should be equipped with grounding device and fire fighting apparatus.

2.The product should be stored in the shade where is dry and well ventilated.Avoid sunlight and be kept away from fire. The product can't be stored with alkalis.
